is going to change on Thursday into Friday so is everyone who needs to, round here going to be phoning up a certain person to mow their fields. We want to get it done if at all possible as, if the fields are not cut this year they will be a mess next year. Lots of dead grass and all very straggly.
It would be ironic as John’s cousin and his family are coming up this way on Friday for the weekend and are supposed to be coming here on Saturday and we are going out with them on Sunday. If work is going on here then John will want to be here to keep an eye on what is happening. He cannot do much as his eye is still very unstable.
We really need a week or more of good sunshine to set us up for the winter.
As I came along the lane this afternoon there was a buzzard sitting on top of a telephone pole holding his wings out to dry. He didn’t fly off like they usually do. Of course I didn’t have the camera with me.
