not much, but it’s freshened eveything and the fields are greening up. Our local farmer, L, has re-seeded some nearby fields and the young grass needed some rain; from our top field John has noticed that a strip is bare, where the grass seed missed.
I bought a pair of Hotter shoes last Nov, the strap stitching started to come undone so I sent the shoe back. I had a phone call this morning to say that they are sending me a new pair, they don’t repair and they can’t send out a single shoe! So if anyone out there wants one left shoe…?
I went to the dentist yesterday – a real wake-up call. I’ve just ordered an electric toothbrush from Argos and they will deliver it on Monday. I’m supposed to clean my teeth with one 3 times a day. I thought they were ok but I’ve neglected them and I can see how much better they are today after the hygienist had a go at them. It cost quite a lot but it’s worth it.
John has pedalled his bike up to Ieuan’s gate twice tonight – he doesn’t like the handlebars, they are at the wrong angle, and the saddle is hard! The saddles aren’t like the one he had when he was a boy.
